Are blacklist sites useful? I saw a VivaDating lady listed on a blacklist site. Blacklist sites do not fulfill their mission because there are serious short-comings in their methodology. 1. Most of the photos posted on blacklist sites are of innocent women whose photos have been hijacked and used by scammers. Scammers harvest these photos from legitimate websites. By the way, most scammers are men. 2. Frequently an unrequited man will lash out against a woman who did not respond to him or who chose to cut off a relationship, by posting her photo on a blacklist site along with a fake scam story. 3. Almost all blacklist sites are operated by dating sites with no other agenda than to slander their competition. Granted, there are scammers in this industry, but blacklists sites, as they currently exist, are not the answer. The best way to protect yourself is to never send money or gifts to anyone - - ever!
